Scuba Complete Guide is an independent website for people who are curious about scuba diving, preparing for their first course, or planning their first dive trips.
Why we created this site
When you start looking into diving, information is everywhere but scattered: agency websites that promote their own courses, forums full of conflicting opinions, and gear reviews that assume you already know the jargon. We wanted one place where a beginner can find clear, honest, practical answers, from "Can I dive if I'm scared of deep water?" to "What wetsuit do I need in Egypt in February?"
Who writes our content
Our articles are written and edited by the Scuba Complete Guide Editorial Team, a small group of recreational divers and writers who care about ocean conservation and diver safety. We research every article carefully using:
- Published training standards and course materials from recognised agencies (such as PADI, SSI, CMAS and NAUI)
- Safety and medical guidance from organisations such as Divers Alert Network (DAN) and diving medicine bodies
- Information from marine parks, national tourism authorities and local dive operators
